Semi-Pelagianism is a theological position that holds an intermediate view between strict Pelagianism and the traditional Augustinian understanding of human depravity. 

It is often used as a derogatory word towards any non-Calvinist belief systems on regeneration preceding faith in an attempt to discredit the belief system by being tied to Pelagianism.

 some human inability due to sin but asserts that humans have the initial ability or initiative to respond to God's grace, cooperating with it in the process of salvation.
